Art & Garden Antiques
Some of my favorite antique pieces, other than salvaged wood, have been garden ornaments, such as carved stone sculptures, cast iron statues, vintage granite grindstones or millstones, stone capitals, antique stone sinks, and other items for landscape design and architecture. I am drawn to these pieces because of their age, patina and the time it has taken for nature to enhance these beautiful forms, where the main purpose is to please the eye. Many items here are ideal landscape décor but some are antiques appropriate for your indoor spaces. Contact me with any questions.

Vintage cast iron rooster with great patina. Perfect for the lawn or garden. 44” tall and very heavy – hundreds of pounds. Very handsome!
Fantastic pair of carved limestone lions c.1870. Came from a very large estate in Lee, MA. Weathering of stone consistent with age. Lions are sitting and oriented left and right facing.
Interesting architectural stone. Would make a great garden ornament. Measures approximately 16” in diameter and 16” tall, approximately 22” diameter at base.
This stone would have rolled around the top of a grindstone like a wheel, often pulled by a donkey, crushing grain as it rolled. It is approximately 18” tall and 18” in diameter. It has a ‘star’ carved into each end. It weighs approximately 450 lbs.
This carved wooden bust came from England and is dated between c.1650 to c.1680. It is a rough carving with the rasp marks very visible. It measures 20” tall x 10” wide at shoulders x 6.5” wide at lower chest. A unique and very old piece.
This is the best antique stone sink I’ve ever come across and it has no new scaring or blemishes. It measures approximately 5’ wide x 2’ deep.
