Exceptional New England granite stone watering trough.  It is 30” wide x 24” tall x 6’6” long with a perfectly tapered inner walls and a masterful stippled and margined exterior. This piece was made by a seasoned stonemason. This piece weighs approximately 3,500 lbs and is made from a single stone.  The base of the trough is about 6” thick and the interior walls are tapered outward as to push ice upwards so as it freezes, it doesn’t crack the stone.  Although it would be wise for added preventative measures in the winter.  At one end of the base is an outlet that goes down and then horizontal and is about ¾” in diameter.  This trough is a 10 out of 10.  It could be used as intended or as a fabulous antique in a barn or great room.

Cost: (trough #3) $18,500.
