Some of the most sought after, hard to find and one of the earliest type of hinges. These butterfly hinges (name given by shape), are matched pairs and in excellent condition for age. Typically, these were not used after c.1710 +/-, so they are considered First Period items. Mostly used for cupboard doors, they got little wear. Call for measurements of individual pairs. If your looking for excellent, hand-wrought hardware, such as matched pairs of H and H-L hinges, thumb latches with original thumbs, or fireplace and kitchen wear of the 18C. Let me know what you are looking for and I may have it or I can locate it. Just be aware the matching, original pieces in excellent condition are very expensive. No assembled pairs.
