Fantastic 18C., rare 3-panel, right-hand door with the works…a wonderful period blue-gray color and great original hardware. A very handsome door. Wood is all hand planed and about 80% hand scraped with a razor blade to reveal the original color.  It has: an original hand forged, through the cusp, spade latch and thumb piece with rose head nails: an original, hand forged spring loaded bar and staple combination (the first I’ve seen in 30 years), with rose head nails; and a pair of original, large hand forged H-L hinges with rose head nails.  A very special door.  It should have the rest of the white paint carefully removed by lightly scraping and used in a prominent place so it can be seen and admired. It measures 27.5” wide x 74.5” tall x a bit less than 1” thick.

Cost: (door #2) $1,200.
