Added August 14, 2017.A spectacular matching pair of 16’(+/-) ionic antique columns from a circa 1849 church that collapsed in early 2011. The church was located in Dayville, CT, along Route 101. The columns are complete and in very good condition. Heavily painted. Capitals and bases are complete but may need to be puzzled back together. The columns are just about 16’ tall (including capitals and bases). The actual columns are~ 25&1/2” in diameter at base and taper to ~ 22” diameter at top, just below capital. The bases measure ~34” in diameter and ~9&1/2” thick. The ionic capitals are ~38” wide x ~24” deep x ~16” tall (they make up ~10” of the total column height).
Cost: pair only, $4,500
