This is the largest 18C spring latch I have seen. It measures ~12” from left to right (13” including tip of bar) x 6” at right side of plate. The end of the bar is 1.5” wide. It fits a 1″ thick door, but with a bit of welding, the shaft can be made to fit a different size. The knobs are brass, and the rest is wrought iron. The supported keeper looks to be a very good reproduction. It has a defect behind the bar and is mostly hidden by the ‘closed’ bar.
