Added February 4, 2020.This oak burl is new wood from a tree that fell years ago. The pieces are sister planks so they make a nice mirror image of each other and will make a fabulous small table. It has been air drying for about 10 years. The surface undulates because the wood shrank due to the beautiful grain patterns. The close-up of the burl grain has been lightly sanded and wet by water to show what oil will do to the surface. Table top will measure approximately 60″ long x 46″ wide x 1.5″ thick.
